Returns and refunds

This policy applies to orders placed on this website by consumers. It sits alongside your legal rights and does not affect them.

Our 30-day returns guarantee

If you change your mind, you may return any item within 30 days of the day you receive it, for a full refund of the price you paid for that item.

To qualify, the item should come back in a condition that allows us to resell it: unwashed, unslept-in, and with its original packaging where possible. You are welcome to open the packaging and inspect what you have ordered. Handling an item as you would in a shop will never affect your refund.

This 30-day guarantee is offered voluntarily, in addition to the statutory rights set out below. It does not replace them.

Your statutory right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a carrier you have named, take physical possession of the goods. Where an order arrives in several parts, it ends 14 days after the day you receive the last item.

To cancel, tell us clearly before that period ends. An email to contact@camilinbed.com is enough. You may use the model cancellation form at the foot of this page, but you are not obliged to.

After cancelling, send the goods back to us within 14 days. We will refund all payments received from you, including the standard cost of delivering the order to you, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first.

If you have handled the goods more than was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may reduce your refund to reflect the reduction in their value.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

If something arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, tell us within 30 days of delivery and you may reject it for a full refund. After those 30 days you remain entitled to a repair or a replacement, and to a refund in certain circumstances.

Email us with your order number and a photograph of the problem. We arrange and pay for the return ourselves. Nothing in this policy limits these rights.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, including statutory cancellations, you pay the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend a tracked service: until the parcel reaches us it remains your responsibility.

For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we pay.

Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method. Once we have processed a refund, how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card issuer.

Where you chose a delivery option more expensive than our standard service, we refund the standard cost rather than the upgrade.
